Hello and welcome to the Baby Bump Bio. We decided to create this blog to keep family and friends up to date on our growing baby! So if you didn't know...Ed and I are expecting our first child in March. After a year and a half of trying and one miscarriage we pretty much gave up. We just decided that we would look into adoption (which we still are considering) and voila I got pregnant! It was a total shock and was not expected at all.
So, this is our 9 week mark and I am still feeling pretty sick. Nausea for most of the day which everyone says is a healthy sign of pregnancy. I pretty much have to eat little meals all through out the day to keep ahead of the nausea! This week I noticed that either I am getting used to the nausea or maybe it is getting a bit better! I'm keeping my fingers crossed because it is not fun! Besides the nausea I am completely exhausted pretty much 24/7! I fall asleep the minute my head hits the pillow and if I don't take a nap at some point I am pretty much sleep walking. All in all it is worth every sick and tired feeling to know we have been blessed with a child.
Last week was my first official doctors visit and everything looks perfect! The doctor said my uterus feels full (duh doc I know that!). This Wednesday we have our first ultrasound which will be our official 9 week mark. I'm looking forward to seeing this little being growing inside of me. I've also been thinking I may be having twins (my grandmother had twins and three psychics told me I was going to have twins). So we will know a few things for sure on Wednesday, whether or not we are having twins and a somewhat more exact due date. As of right now my due date is March 3, but things can change I have heard :)
So please subscribe to our blog as we will be updating weekly and sometimes daily. We will also be adding pictures! What a better way for those far away to follow the journey with us.
We would love to hear your comments as well so please feel free to comment below each post.
